British Association of Removers

The British Association of Removers was formed in 1900 and represents all leading removals and storage companies throughout Great Britain. All members are inspected regularly to ensure that they meet the stringent standards requirements and follow good practice guidelines, as required by the office of fair trading.

As a BAR member we observe the BAR Code of Practice by using approved contract conditions and liability. All the packing materials used by BAR members are recyclable and in the extremely unlikely event of an emergency you can be assured that all BAR members have a domestic emergency guarantee available to customers

We hold many accreditations from BAR including membership of the elite overseas and commercial moving groups We are BS EN 12522 Household removals certified BS EN 14873 Storage certified and BS8522 moving certification moving certification. We are also members of FEDEMAC The European federation of removers and were National Guild of Removers UK Remover of the year 2004 and 2005 and West Lothian Best Business award winners in 2006.
